MakamGeshem app for iPhone and iPad

MakamGeshem shows you where its raining in and around Israel. The app presents doppler radar information, provided by the Israeli Meteorological Service (IMS), dynamically overlaid atop Google Maps, allowing you to track rain across space and time, live. This lets you intuitively and accurately deduce your own personal rain forecast and prepare accordingly: grab that umbrella, find the right time to head out on your motorcycle and stay dry, warm up your vocals for singing in the rain, and more! In addition, current weather conditions (temperature, humidity, wind speed and direction) are displayed for your current location. Whether youre a weather junkie, a motorcyclist, or just want to stay dry, MakamGeshem has got you covered!

Hit the I▷ button to start/pause the animation or manually cycle through time-points by sliding vertically along the scrolling area on the side (marked by arrows) or by sliding the round button on the bottom. If youre into satellite imagery or topography, go ahead and tap the clock :)

האפליקציה מראה לכם איפה יורד גשם בארץ וסביבה. האפליקציה מציגה את נתוני מכ״ם הגשם של השירות המטורולוגי, באופן דינמי, על גבי מפת גוגל ובכך מאפשרת לעקוב אחר הגשם במרחב ובזמן. תוכלו לחזות את הגשם באופן אינטואטיבי ומדוייק ולהערך בהתאם: לקחת מטרייה, לתכנן נסיעה על אופנוע או אופניים מבלי להירטב ועוד! בנוסף, מוצגים נתוני מזג האוויר (טמפרטורה, לחות, מהירות וכיוון הרוח) במיקומך הנוכחי. ברגל, ברכב, או על דו-גלגלי—בין אם אתם חובבי מזג אוויר, או סתם מעדיפעים לא להירטב—MakamGeshem יידאג לכם!
